PUMA and JIL SANDER continue their creative dialogue for the AW26 chapter, expanding the partnership into apparel for the first time while introducing two new collaborative footwear styles: the Speedcat and Suede.
In 1998, Jil Sander partnered with PUMA to reimagine its iconic football lace-ups as luxury leather sneakers. Launched at a time of cultural transformation, the partnership grew across several collections, blending the worlds of luxury and sport and setting a lasting tone in the sneaker world: unassuming, refined and ahead of its time.
In October 2025, under the creative direction of Simone Bellotti, the two rekindled their partnership, reviving the KING AVANTI in premium leather, followed by the K-STREET in April 2026. Almost three decades on, that legacy continues to inform this latest chapter.
This third instalment revisits three PUMA archetypes, the T7 tracksuit, the Speedcat and the Suede, through the lens of Simone Bellotti, where sports heritage meets the refined elegance of timeless fashion.
Introduced in 1968 as PUMA's first apparel line, the T7 tracksuit takes its name from its 7-centimetre Formstrip. JIL SANDER establishes a new silhouette for the icon: a boxy track jacket and tapered track pants in a bi-stretch wool developed exclusively for JIL SANDER, fluid yet structured, breathable and naturally thermo-regulating. It comes in a club navy developed exclusively with the house, with a branded brushed silver zip puller and a co-branded T7 woven label. A relaxed, boxy longsleeve in PUMA white, in a cotton and recycled polyester blend, completes the capsule.
In footwear, the Speedcat, born from motorsport, returns through a reissue of the original JIL SANDER and PUMA archive design, finished with an artisanal leather heel detail by Simone Bellotti and a full leather lining. The Speedcat is available in all-black and all-white leather. The Suede, a PUMA icon for more than five decades, is reinterpreted in premium leather, with a refined outsole, a hidden lace construction and a full leather lining, available only in white.
